AUDIO PROJECT: MONSTER TRUCK

 

You have been hired as an audio editor for Monster Trucks Incorporated. They want you to edit a commercial for the upcoming tour. They have provided you with the voice over (VO), character voice, explosion sound, and the final script. The company wants you to add appropriate sound effects to certain areas of the VO for the final version. You are to follow the directions given by the project manager for the target audience to complete the project. Once complete then you should review the checklist for quality assurance before turning in your work.

 

You will be editing a monster truck commercial in Audition. Save the voiceover, explosion, and elmo audio MP3's and the script to your audio folder. Follow the directions in the tutorial. Follow the scripts as directed. Drag the narrator voiceover MP3 into Audition from the Finder. Delete all the mistakes so you have a clean version of the VO. Add the sound effects, other voices, and audio as prompted by the script. Save as a Audition file in your Audio folder. Then Export the song and save as an MP3 file as last name + first initial + monster. Place the MP3 in the network folder.

 

 

QA Checklist

1 - VO is edited to the script - you can make a few variations to the Elmo part of the script

2 - Script is broken up on different tracks so the proper effects can be added without effecting other areas of the VO

3 - Sound effects have been added to the appropriate tracks as directed

4 - Explosion and Elmo voice added in proper place

5 - Audio file is saved and exported as a MP3 format as instructed

6 - Final audio file is submitted in ntwork folder as a MP3 format with the instructed name for the project

 

 

This project is due on Monday by the end of the school day.
